Thank you to everyone who participated in our survey!

Building on the success of our first survey of Canberra women, YWCA Canberra created a survey for women and non-binary persons aged 16 years and over, to build a snapshot of what life is like for these groups in the ACT.

Our 2021 survey received more than 1200 responses and collected demographic data and gauged the lived experiences of women and non-binary persons in Canberra. It included questions relating to work, economic security, housing, personal safety and the personal impact of COVID-19.

These results will help us develop a comprehensive snapshot of Canberra women and non-binary persons and help guide our advocacy work.

We will be launching our survey findings on Friday 3 December at Kambri Cultural Centre.

Attendance is free and we look forward to sharing the results at our in-person event.
