Our RTO provides quality niche education and training, focusing on the individual needs of women. The Quality and Compliance Officer is responsible for the compliance and accreditation of the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) together with oversight of evaluation of quality, innovative training with the Unit.
YWCA’s Canberra’s central office is based in Canberra city, and is a friendly, creative and collaborative working environment.
Reporting to the Education and Training Unit Coordinator, the RTO Compliance and Quality officer is responsible for maintaining and monitoring of requirements regarding the organisation’s accreditation and compliance as an RTO including adherence to VET quality Framework, as well as being responsible for the quality assurance and validation of courses, adding and upgrading to the RTO scope and maintaining all current delegations of the RTO.
The ideal candidate has sound knowledge in quality compliance and administration in an RTO policy environment, an applied knowledge of VET sector, and a demonstrated knowledge of the ACT vocational educational and training system.
The successful applicant will have strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex data sets and excellent organisation skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
