YWCA Canberra School Age Care is looking for an innovative and passionate School Age Care Program Manager to work in our before and after school and school holiday program.  You will need a good working knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), the National Quality Standards (NQS), the Early Years Learning (EYLF) and My Time, Our Place (MTOP) frameworks to join our team.

About You:

You will work alongside like minded educators to ensure best practice is implemented at our School Age Care Programs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing a developmentally appropriate, child focused program
  • Mentoring and developing casual and permanent educator teams
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with children, families and the school community
  • Ensuring your service is compliant with the Education and Care National Law and Regulations

The successful applicants will hold or be working towards a Diploma in Children’s Services or have completed two full years of a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or other degree, and have experience working within the Children’s Services profession.

A can-do attitude, passion for working with children and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

Applicants must hold a current Working with Vulnerable People Card and will be required to obtain a police check if the WWVP Card is more than three months old.
