About the Role:

Working closely with the Education and Training Coordinator, the Trainer and Assessor, She Leads Diploma of Leadership and Management is responsible for developing and delivering the qualification to aspiring and emerging women leaders and managers.

The Trainer and Assessor works closely with expert external facilitators to deliver face-to-face classes, organises and facilitates in-class panel discussions, provides mentoring and support for students and marks assessments.

The Trainer and Assessor also organises the She Leads Workshop events, which are delivered by expert external facilitators.

About She Leads

The She Leads program is a leadership pathway for women, including female-identifying and non-binary people, who are looking to explore and develop their leadership potential.

Through the She Leads program the next generation of women leaders are being equipped with the skills and confidence they need to further their potential.

The She Leads program includes the She Leads Diploma of Leadership and Management, the She Leads Conference, the She Leads In-Conversation Series, the She Leads College Conference (for girls in years 11 and 12), the She Leads High Conference (for girls in years 9 and 10), and the She Leads Workshops.

About You:

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, articulate, experienced and organised trainer and assessor who is committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences for our students.

Essential skills, attributes and experience:

  • Commitment to empowering women and addressing gender inequality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage sensitively with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience teaching, facilitating and marking student assessments
  • Industry experience in leadership and management roles
  • Exceptional organisational skills and an ability to work autonomously as well as cooperatively in a team
  • Commitment to innovation, creativity, best practice and continuous improvement
  • High level computer skills including experience using Microsoft programs and the ability to quickly learn new software applications as required
