YWCA Canberra Clubhouse
Grow your skills with YWCA Canberra’s Clubhouse—a free, out of school learning space for young people, aged 10 to 18 in the Tuggeranong region.

School Holiday Program
YWCA Canberra Youth Programs provides a free school holiday program to young people aged ten to 25 years old. Our program activities range from the creative and arts to action packed excursions.

Drop-in activities will be run from the Mura Lanyon Youth and Community Centre. For excursions, the bus will pick up and drop off at the Mura Lanyon Youth and Community Centre.

The sign up form for our 2024 Winter School Holiday Program is available here. This form should be completed and sent to youth@ywca-canberra.org.au.
This is an ACT Government-funded program to service vulnerable young people in the community. As such, participants will be triaged based on a needs assessment which will be governed by best practice policy.

Case work
We provide supported accommodation services on behalf of the ACT Government for families including women and children, who are in unstable housing or experiencing homelessness.

Teen Clinic
Teen Clinic is a free service that provides local teenagers with the opportunity to talk to one of our nurses about a range of issues in a non-judgmental environment.
Warm Connections
Warm Connections Counselling provides individual therapeutic support to families with children and young people aged zero to 15 years.

Youth centre drop-in
The Youth Centre is open to all young people aged 10 to 25. In this space, you can chat with youth workers, use computers with free internet.

LGBTQIA+ and Allies Prom
The LGBTQIA+ & Allies Prom is held annually and provides an opportunity for up to 180 young people to experience a formal style event and express their identity in a safe, supportive, and celebratory environment.

At this event, we also celebrate and recognise the exceptional young people in our community through the LGBTQIA+ & Allies Prom Awards.
This event is strictly drug and alcohol-free.
Prom relies on the generous donations of community members to sponsor tickets so that young people can attend at no cost. For information about Prom please follow the Youth Engagement Instagram page or check out YWCA Canberra’s events page.
