Our Lives, Our Futures: Gender equality in the age of COVID-19

You’re invited to celebrate International Women’s Day 2021 with YWCA Canberra. This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”.

Building on our tradition of using this global day to focus on the lives and stories of Canberra women, YWCA Canberra will be screening a short documentary and hosting an expert panel discussion on Wednesday 10 March.

Our Lives, Our Futures: Gender equality in the age of COVID-19 will explore how the pandemic has impacted on gender equality and women’s economic security and wellbeing, through sharing the experiences of local women.

The screening will be followed by an expert panel discussion with local leaders in women’s policy and advocacy.
