We’re excited to invite you to our brand new She Leads In-Conversation Series, the latest addition to our She Leads suite of events.
This In-Conversation event will feature engineer, gender equality advocate, race car enthusiast, and all round inspiring woman leader, Yassmin Abdel-Magied!
Yassmin was the 2015 Queensland Young Australian of the Year, and is passionate about empowering women, and people from racially, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Yassmin founded the not-for-profit organisation Youth Without Borders when she was just 16, and has been working to inspire more young women to pursue careers in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) ever since.
Yassmin’s debut memoir, Yassmin’s Story, was released in 2015. Copies of Yassmin’s Story will be available for purchase and signing by the author on the night.
