Virtual She Leads Diploma mini course and information session

At YWCA Canberra, we want to empower you to be a values-based leader who creates positive outcomes through sharing, consensus and strong relationships.

Anyone at any level of employment can be a great leader, it just takes clarity, courage and commitment to communicate with influence.

During this one-hour session, participants will discuss what it takes to communicate with influence in the context of being an influential leader. The course will cover being present,  how to listen to others meaningfully and how to influence others to listen to us.  We will also share information about the She Leads Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB50420) offered by YWCA Canberra. This is an interactive session; please come ready to be on camera and prepare to share.

The She Leads Diploma of Leadership and Management builds upon a traditional Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB50420) by acknowledging and addressing the perspectives, challenges and opportunities for women and non-binary people in leadership.

Through the course, you will have the opportunity to gain the best-practice skills, theoretical knowledge, and networks to accelerate your leadership journey, in a safe and supportive environment.

With exciting and enlightening panels and experienced facilitators, you will learn your own authentic leadership style, which will set you up for success in whatever sector or role you want to pursue.

Previous participants have said the course gave them the knowledge and confidence to achieve both their personal and professional goals, as well as giving them a network of women leaders to draw upon for further experience.

Our next intake starts 20 October 2022.
