Come and embrace the cold winter evenings and socialise with YWCA members and friends. She Meets is a free series of events run by YWCA Canberra members, where women, including female-identifying and non-binary people can make connections and listen to an engaging and inspiring discussion.

The She Meets Winter Warmer is the fourth event in this series, and at this event, we will be hearing about the YWCA Canberra Clubhouse. Now in its fourth year, the YWCA Canberra Clubhouse is a free, out of school learning space that provides over 240 young people in the Tuggeranong region with access to the latest technology, as well as mentoring and support to grow their skills in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM)

YWCA Canberra’s vision for the Clubhouse is for the program to contribute to bridging the digital divide in our region, and encouraging girls and young people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds to gain skills and confidence in STEAM.

These social events are fun and informal, and a perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people.

Please note, this event is not catered, but food and drinks can be purchased at the venue.
