Our CEO, Frances Crimmins, is available to speak on a variety of topics including gender equality, women’s leadership, housing and homelessness in Canberra and the childhood education and care sector.
As a Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Pay Equity Ambassador, Ms Crimmins has undertaken a pledge to ensure gender balance on speaking panels. When invited to speak, Ms Crimmins will expect that efforts have been made to ensure a gender balance on the panel, and for women to participate in a meaningful way. She reserves the right to withdraw from any event, even at the last minute, should this not be the case when the speaker list is finalised.
• YWCA Canberra also has experts available to be spokespeople on domestic and family violence
• gendered discrimination
• housing and homelessness in Canberra, especially with older women
