Construction of the state of the art, purpose-built, Fairley Early Childhood Education and Care is currently underway in Fairley Estate, Murrumbateman, NSW. An initiative of ArnoldCo and Hewlett Property Group, this innovative, open plan early childhood education and care facility is scheduled to be open and operational by June 2017.

Approved to care for one hundred children from Murrumbateman and surrounding communities, the service will be managed and operated by YWCA Canberra.

A leading Australian not-for-profit organisation, YWCA Canberra has been providing award-winning children’s services in Canberra for more than 30 years.

Rohan Arnold, Director of ArnoldCo said the development of Fairley Early Childhood Education and Care is the result of a community-wide need for excellent children’s services in regional NSW.

“The facility will boast vast indoor and outdoor play areas with a country, homelike atmosphere, and will provide a long lasting, positive impact on the children and families of Murrumbateman and surrounding communities.

“We’re excited to provide high quality services to a community that is not only deserving of such a development, but has shown demand for services of this type.

“We are delighted that this joint initiative is about to become a reality for the community.”

YWCA Canberra’s Executive Director, Frances Crimmins said they will create a beautiful, calm, learning environment for children, as well as develop a gender-neutral curriculum.

“Our centre-based care nurtures children’s individual development and needs, and all children are treated equally and are respected as individuals.

“Cultural diversity is also a significant consideration in the development of our programming, with a specific emphasis on children’s social, emotional, creative, intellectual and physical development.

Ben Hewlett, Director of Hewlett Property Group said, “Stage Two of the development will see completion by the end of 2017 for over 900m2 of quality commercial space, due to be advertised for lease over the coming months.

“Alongside the Fairley Early Childhood Education & Care, we are creating three individual commercial buildings varying in lease capacity from 100m2 to 300m2.

“This will allow local business to cement a foothold in what is planned to be a vibrant and very exciting commercial hub within Murrumbateman.”
