Heidi Zajac*

Heidi joined the Board in 2013 after completing the Board Traineeship Program in 2012-13. Heidi has extensive work experience in the ACT community sector including small, specialist organisations and medium sized generalist organisations, where she has worked in project design, program management, policy development, budget management, client information and support services, community development, and education and awareness. Heidi has worked in programs alongside the social reform, the National Disability Insurance Scheme.  She has been a member of the YWCA Australia Timor Leste Working Group and now operates a women’s program, Cooking Circles, running this in Timor Leste and Canberra. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Diploma in International and Community Development.
