If you find yourself unable to attend a She Leads event, please let us know by contacting sheleads@ywca-canberra.org.au. Full refunds are available for cancellations received at least 7 days prior to the event. After this time we can’t offer a refund, but you are able to transfer your registration to a friend/colleague if you contact us at least 24 hours before the event. No refunds or transfers are available for cancellations made on the day of the event.
Due to the unpredictability of COVID-19 travel and border restrictions, YWCA Canberra may be forced to postpone or cancel an event due to speaker unavailability to travel or increased restrictions imposed by the ACT Government on in-person gatherings. Should this occur, we will notify attendees as soon as possible.
In this instance, attendees are able to either transfer their ticket to the next She Leads event (at the same ticket price or below), or request a full refund. Please note, this policy applies only in the instance of the event being cancelled by YWCA Canberra, and does not apply should individual attendees choose not to attend due to COVID-19, if government advice allows for the event to continue.
