Thank you for purchasing a ticket to attend a YWCA Canberra event. Please be aware that by purchasing a ticket, you have agreed to the following terms and conditions. If you purchased multiple tickets, you have also agreed to the terms and conditions on behalf of all ticket holders, and they too must adhere to the terms and conditions.
If you find yourself unable to attend an event, please let us know by contacting caf@ywca-canberra.org.au. Full refunds are available for cancellations received at least seven (7) days prior to the event.
After this time, we can’t offer a refund, but you are able to transfer your registration to a friend/colleague if you contact us at least 24 hours before the event.
No refunds or transfers are available for cancellations made on the day of the event.
YWCA Canberra is dedicated to providing safe spaces for attendees to discuss issues related to women in leadership. We invite you to help us make our events is welcoming and respectful to all delegates.
We do not tolerate harassment of event attendees, speakers, partners or organisers in any form.
Harassment includes offensive comments (in person or online) related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Partners and speakers are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, partners and speakers should not use sexualised images, activities, or other material in their communication regarding YWCA Canberra events.
If any person engages in harassing behaviour, the event organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact an event crew member immediately. You can also report harassment to or raise concerns with the YWCA Canberra team at caf@ywca-canberra.org.au or on 0429 210 881.
