About the Role:

The YWCA Canberra has Certificate III positions available at our Gungahlin Early Childhood Service located in Winyu House.

We are looking for Certificate III qualified educators who are passionate about early childhood education and care and have experience in the sector. Our educators build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and the local community.  Most importantly, you will make a difference to the lives of children in our care.

About You:

This position is suitable for you if you hold:

  • A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Have a strong working knowledge of the National Quality Framework
  • You are committed to providing high quality education and care to children
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, and a warm and friendly nature
  • Experience in maintaining a safe workplace, and working within a compliance framework
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Working with Children’s Check
  • Current first aid/asthma anaphylaxis training
  • Working with Children’s Check
  • Current first aid/asthma anaphylaxis training
