About the role:
YWCA Canberra has a Diploma qualified position available at our Conder Early Childhood Service located in Conder opposite Charles Conder Primary school.
We are looking for a Diploma qualified educator with experience in the sector and who is keen to progress their career in early childhood education and care. Our educators build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and the local community. Most importantly, you will make a difference to the lives of children in our care.

About You:

This position is suitable for you if you hold:

  • A completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
  • You are committed to providing high-quality education and care to children.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, and a warm and friendly nature.
  • Experience in maintaining a safe workplace and working within a compliance framework.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People Card and Police check or ability to obtain.
  • Current first aid/asthma/anaphylaxis training.
