We are currently looking for a Senior Marketing Officer as a parental leave cover for a fixed term of 12 months.

About You:

The Senior Marketing Officer role works closely with other members of the team to assist in the delivery of the organisation’s marketing activities, with a focus on supporting the promotion and growth of our fee-for-service offerings, including the Education and Training products, children’s services programs, and the gender equality corporate products.

In addition, this role leads the marketing of our She Leads suit of events, and other corporate events throughout the year.

What professional skills and knowledge you possess

 Essential:

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications & marketing
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in communications or marketing
  • Demonstrated people management skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in producing engaging and compelling content for both on and offline platforms and publications
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Graphic design experience desirable but not essential
  • Ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Team-oriented attitude, and the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • High work ethic, self-motivated and outcomes-focused
  • An innovative, collaborative, and creative approach to work

 Desirable:

  • Experience working on gender and/or social justice issues desirable but not essential
