When talented people with purpose come together, we make a difference! YWCA Canberra is looking for a Diploma Trainer and Assessor to coordinate, mark assessments and deliver our She Leads Diploma of Leadership and Management in our Education and Training Team.
We’re a diverse and highly skilled bunch, made up of trainers and assessors, business development and communication professionals, vocational education and training quality and compliance nerds, and early childhood education and care leaders.
We are dedicated to providing a dynamic, inclusive and effective training experience for all our students.
Reporting to the Education and Training Unit Manager, this highly autonomous role will draw on best-practice vocational education and training methods to support students undertaking the She Leads Diploma of Leadership and Management.
The role is responsible for engaging expert external facilitators to deliver face-to-face classes and plays a support role to facilitators inside and outside the classroom. This includes administrative and logistical support, organising guest speakers for live panel discussions, and preparing training materials for classes.

The She Leads program is a leadership pathway for women, including female-identifying and non-binary people, who are looking to explore and develop their leadership potential.
Through the She Leads program, the next generation of women leaders, from all sectors and industries, are being equipped with the skills and confidence they need to further their potential.
The She Leads program includes the She Leads Diploma of Leadership and Management, the She Leads Conference, the She Leads In-Conversation Series, the She Leads College Conference (for girls in years 11 and 12), the She Leads High Conference (for girls in years 9 and 10), and the She Leads Workshops.
