Celebrating the festive season Next Door

As part of our series of social events for women in our Next Door housing support program, we held a festive gathering at the Yarralumla Gallery and Oaks Brasserie on 27 November. 
The wonderful staff there produced a delicious spread of savouries, cakes and scones for our 19 women as we sat among the trees of the private dining area at a table set with beautiful flowers.
Santa dropped by with bags full of festive goodies and the women had a wonderful time. With many of the women having met at our previous social events, it was lovely to see budding friendships evolving—it was difficult to get some of our ladies to leave at the end!
Our last outing for the year will be a more low-key walk around the Arboretum, with the obligatory morning coffee and cake.
