On Tuesday 16 June, the latest crop of aspiring Canberra women leaders graduated from our She Leads Diploma of Management.
As part of our women’s leadership pathway, the She Leads Diploma of Management interweaves a gendered analysis of leadership with a traditional Diploma of Management, allowing participants to build their leadership skills while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Our latest graduates have been full of praise of the content and structure of the course, and particularly the calibre of women involved as facilitators and panelists.
Here’s a sample of some of their comments:
I’d just like to say that the She Leads course was so terrific and came at a really opportune time for me. I feel more confident in so many professional areas and look forward to applying this skill set to my new career here.
… as a result of this course, I’m feeling very confident in my ability to manage a larger team and hope to seek out such opportunities for advancement when the time is right … I’ve already noticed a boost in my confidence levels as a result.
Halfway through the Diploma, I was promoted into a position which saw me managing staff for the first time. I don’t think I would have even applied for this position if I wasn’t studying She Leads, and there were many times which I was grateful for what I had learned throughout the course.
Our next course is already underway, but there is still time to enquire about enrolment for September.
