Our Education and Training Unit provides knowledge and experiences through our student’s learning journey with a variety of learning models.
Last week our Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care students took an excursion to the National Museum of Australia.
The students learnt about the history and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and how to implement Cultural Competence and celebrate the benefits of diversity. Everyone had a great time on the excursion, leaving with a deeper understanding of how to honour these cultures and history.
A huge thank you to Izabela Lisiecka, Early Childhood Education and Care Trainer and Assessor, for the coordination of the excursion and the hands-on involvement she provides to the students.
