WIP at MLYCC

With Wear It Purple Day coming up, our Mura Lanyon Youth and Community Centre (MLYCC) hosted a virtual Wear it Purple Day celebration on 23 August, in collaboration with Headspace Tuggeranong. They invited members of our A-Z social support group for LGBTQIA+ young people and the wider community to attend.
The event included playing a Kahoots game, competing in LGBQTIA+-themed music trivia, and discussing Australian LGBTQIA+ history.
Both attendees and youth workers had a fantastic time creating community and sharing knowledge, even if it had to be online. They are all looking forward to next year when they can keep spreading the rainbow love in person!
