The 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the members of YWCA Canberra will be held as follows:

Venue:

This year, we will be conducting a hybrid AGM, with members able to join either virtually (via Zoom) or in-person. At the point of registration via our website, please select how you would like to attend.

Please note that you will be able to switch to virtual attendance at any point leading up to the AGM. 

Due to the nature of hybrid virtual meetings, we invite written questions from members in advance of the AGM. The Chair will seek to address as many of the questions as possible during the AGM. Members who would like to submit questions in advance of the AGM can do so by emailing governance@ywca-canberra.org.au by COB (5:00PM) Monday 3 November 2025.  

For those attending virtually, please connect to the Zoom meeting 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled start time, to ensure that any connection issues can be resolved in advance, as well as any video and microphone/audio issues. This is to ensure that the meeting can start at the scheduled time.

Proxy forms 

If you would like another member to attend the AGM for you, please download the 2025 AGM proxy form and return to governance@ywca-canberra.org.au before 11:59PM AEDT, Saturday 1 November 2025.  

Please CC in your nominated proxy on the email. 

Only physical and digitised signatures are accepted on proxy forms. Typed names will not be accepted. 

Due to equal number of nominations received for vacant positions, as per the YWCA Canberra Constitution, no election is required.
