YWCA Canberra School Age Care is looking for a Program Manager/ Educational Leader to manage and lead a team of educators, within a school age care service that is located in Tuggeranong region.

To be considered for this position, you’ll need:

  • Minimum: Diploma of Education and Care ACECQA-approved (transcript evidence required) 
  • Knowledge and understanding of children’s needs, including children with diverse abilities. Previous work with children who have diverse care requirements is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of National Quality Framework and Regulations inclusive of National Quality Standards, My Time Our Place 2.0 and current best practice and pedagogies in Care and Education (essential)
  • The ability to carry out the duties of the position (position description attached in link)
  • Willingness and ability to lead and work as a member of a team.
  • Current full driver’s license and access to a vehicle with comprehensive insurance during working hours (preferred)
  • A current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (ACT) / or willingness to obtain one (essential).
  • Australian Citizenship or suitable rights to work in Australia/ or willingness to obtain.
  • Satisfactory Police Check / or willingness to obtain.
  • Current ‘’HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting’’ certificate / or willingness to obtain.
